Tiger Mark and I went up to Wisconsin yesterday to look at a `64 F100 we found for sale. It looked really good in the pictures, and the owner spent $4500 on having all of the body work done and painted. This is what we found. Oh,BTW...the owner had bought new cab corners, floor pans, etc, and the guy doing the work didn`t need them, they were still sitting in the bed unused...he used all BONDO!!!!!! Oh,and the paint looked like it was rustoleum gloss red,oil based!

Only a month (and a week) until the 9th Hunnert Car Pileup :D

This is going to be a great show...

Both Decatur and Clinton are excited to have us and are fully cooperating. We met with them last weekend and the Progress City staff had already met with the Police and Sheriff Departments THREE times ironing all the bugs out of my traffic plan. :D There won't be any traffic problems this year!

The bands are all set to go, even The Ragtime Wranglers from the Netherlands!

Norwell, Weesner, Max Grundy, Ed Tillrock, Nate Grice and many other great artists and pinstripers will be there.

There will be a LOT of BBQ and beer. Decatur had to import the PBR straight from the Brewery in Milwaukee, but it WILL be there. :D Snappers is working in getting some Lonestar to accompany all the PBR. :D :D

The traffic is going to work a little different than in the past. Police officers will be at each intersection to facilitate flow, but pay attention to this map so you're prepared.

Spectators will be entering from several places on Mound and Brush College Rds. If you're a spectator, pay attention to the police AND the parking crew.

Show cars will enter College Park Dr off Brush College Rd, drive all the way to the 2nd parking lot and LINE UP in long rows. We will randomly pick a line to start with and then move from line to line, so don't get freaked out about what line you're in! If you're not in a line in the parking lot, you won't get screened, so don't try to cut by driving straight to the gate. When we're ready, cars will drive to the SW gate for inspection. Rejected cars will drive right into the special lot for them, or can continue into the main spectator lot. If approved, you'll proceed into the show area much like before, but things will go a LOT faster. This ain't a Good Guys show, so NO TENTS! Even the little pop up ones. There are a lot of resons for this.

HAMB Meet & Greet at 2pm by the Pileup Command Center!

Campers & RVs will ONLY be allowed in the designated area in the south part of the main parking lot. Look for the giant wind turbine and park under it. Pretty easy. No charge for camping, but there are no facilities and no fires are allowed on the ground.

Fried Chicken Buffet Friday night and Roast Pork Buffet on Saturday at the Snappers pre/post parties! :D Plus, Clinton has one of the top ranked haunted houses in the state. Despite what MapQuest tells you, it's only a 15 minute drive from the hotels. Just watch your speed through Maroa. I'll try to post some backroad routes later.

Don't forget Cruisin' Eldo on Thursday night, and the hot rod raffle.

We still need volunteers for the Red Shirt Army!

The sale was legit on both ends and it was between friends so he is not that worried about the potential problems involved with sales not involving a title. Neither of us are sure how titles work for bikes though.

So I ask what kind of party he wants this year and he says he wants an "old car party". I know there are some creative people on this board. How can I throw an old car party for a 6 year old? Pin the wheel on the Chevy? My wife has the cake handled, but I'm kind of stumped for activities and decorations. Any ideas welcome, thanks everyone. Here's who you're helping:)
